How do I know if my cat is overweight?
There are several things you can look for to determine if your cat is overweight. Some of them include lethargy, difficulty walking, running, climbing and grooming themselves, excessive appetites and when you touch your cat you cannot feel individual ribs. During a nutritional consult with your veterinarian, they would offer a weight consultation including the proper food to help them get to a healthy weight. Blood work would be offered as well, as overweight cats can be prone to diabetes.
